i got up here to portland about 6 days ago! we had and apartment set up for when we got here and thought we were good to go. wrong! we show up after being on the road for days and the property manager's first comment to us was about a porn shop he use to work at. nice! he gave us the keys and drew us a map and told us to go and check out the apartment. there were kids hangin out in the courtyard smoking and up to no good. it was ghetto as hell to keep it short and sweet. we lived in a motel 6 for 4 days and finaly found a place in a really nice neighborhood. portland is crazy! people are really nice and the area is awesome! my landlord has all 5 major types of retardation though, you cant win them all. hes like 26 and a "FUCKING RETARD" that is a quote from my upstairs neighbor. talk about hitting the nail on the head though. other than that all is cool, the weather here is mad nice! everyone told me that is constatly rains and its all gloomy allday everyday. WRONG! its bee warm and sunny all week. the rainy season is coming up but the locals say it is sunny for the most part. i love it here and cant wait to start school. i went on a tour there and fell in love. i dont think i will ever leave the place. imm gonna pulla paulie shore and never graduate so i can major in almost everything. its super nice to be surrounded by artist and see artsy peopel around me. in oklahoma i had shit kickers and tards around me. this city is so alive and the people are very active and social. i took some pics of my gf at the rose garden here and will post them soon. just to rub it in a little, i can check out the best and most expensive cameras and camera gear available!
